Some people get a few days, maybe a week or two.

We may have been pretty poor babe....but ours lasted an entire year.

Just so happens that our year long Honeymoon fell on the biggest year until 2999!

...and where else should one spend a year long honeymoon than at the happiest place on earth!!!

There were so many cool things going on in the Disney Theme Parks.

Since we only had to pay for gas and food, it was a pretty easy time for us.

Bad week of work?
Lets go to Disney!

That aside, there was so much to see and do, it's no wonder we spent so much time there.

The Special Celebrations were the best.
Especially the Tapestry of Nations and
the Illuminations at night making the
experience unforgettable.

Lets take a closer look shall we? We didn't come all this way for nothing!

Nations

Lets not sit on the sidelines watching stills, come, join me again!

So cool, and still worth every second...but there's still more to see.
We can't miss the second showing or the gran finale!

It's almost time, we can get a preview of what's next, but if you don't want one...just pass on by and go straight to Illuminations.

Take my hand, its time for ~ Illuminations !

WOW! Still amazing after all this time!!!

You know, all that stuff was pretty great. We got to see it from all angles, and we get to do it again and again in this way. Still, the real fireworks weren't the ones in the sky. They were the ones where we held hands, kissed, or just existed in the same space together. Pretty sure that was part of the message Disney was trying to get out. Well....for the hands and sharing space thing. Maybe not so much the kissing....but I digress. We had a lot of fun then and we've been pretty good at making our own fun whenever and wherever we've been. That's not too shabby for 16 years. Maybe it was just the right kind of Honeymoon for us.

~ Time to bid the Honeymoon experience a fond farewell for now ~

Time to go,
All aboard.
I hope you really
enjoyed the show.
It's not make believe
or an imaginary figment.
It was as real as you and me
that is, of course, unless we are dreams.
