Pheadra RosePheadra Rose was once a litter of two. She came in with her much larger brother who ate WAY more than she did. As temporary names, we called him Tick and her Flea because she was so tiny. Tick went on to be adopted, but little Flea was too sickly to go anywhere. She went through so much in her short kittenhood. Baths were a daily routine and sometimes several. She had constant diarrhea, had trouble eating, and was fighting various infections off and on. It took a lot of work to get her healthy enough to find somewhere that was ‘normal’ despite chronic issues and some pretty severe allergies, to everything.
We knew we were in it for the long haul with this small cat. Her name became Pheadra, after a strong female fighter in a video game called Vhaidra. Her battle against her small body made her a fighter for survival, but she never gave up. She even had to have all but four of her teeth removed by the time she was 5! Pheadra may have had a lot of health problems but we never gave up on her. She passed away February 2025 having live a long full life. |
