"Where Everypawdy is Somebody"

ADOPTABLE Animals

Its October and one of our favorite times of the year.
From the changing leaves to changing costumes, we love to experience the season in both History and Hauntings!

No reason to brave the dark alone on this Hallowed of Months, not when you can have a good friend by your side or one to watch your back. What better friend to have than an adopted pet?

Whether you like Spine Tingling Scares, Cauldrons of Cuteness, or the Scariest of Sweets, October is the month for them all and more. We have some New 'Mews and Pupdates' and don't forget to check back and see some Howl-o-ween tips, Learn the Legends about Black Cats, and how to prepare for the Wrath of Weather in our FAQ section.

Remember, if we don't have the next Magical Member of your family, there are many other little monsters in Shelters and Rescues who could very easily Cast a Spell on your Heart!

Halloween Safety

Picture

Halloween can be a lot of fun with costumes, decorations, and lets not forget candy!

But there can also be a darker side for pets and its our job as their guardians to be their super heroes and protect them from the ghosts, ghouls, goblins and themselves.

Take a look at some of these safety tips and be mindful of the hidden hazards that might spook them or the potential poisoned apple.

It’s the time of year when the scent of pumpkin spice wafts through the air and dogs are wont to roll in piles of crispy leaves. It’s also a great time to protect the safety and well-being of your pet from potential seasonal dangers. Here are ten items that should be on your radar:

Featured Dog of the Month

Picture
Hi! My name is Willow!

I may look like salt and pepper, but i'm a total sugar rush! I'm looking for a home with someone who is an expert snuggler, and a play buddy in a hooman, tiny hooman, dog, cat, or all four! I love everyone I've met so far, although I'm a little shy at first. If you are someone who likes to shower your pup with Treats and Toys, I want in! Toys are so much fun that I'm happy playing by myself, but I share super well with everypawdy. I'd really like a dog brother or sister to play with and show me the ropes (literally!) I'm a smart and observant and I'm doing a pawsome job learning sign language. I even have a special sign for my own name! They say I'm a really user friendly pup, but don't just take my bark for it, let's meet pup...err....up!

I got adopted!!!

I was initially nervous about everything since it was all so new, but my brother made me at home super fast. He's the biggest cat I've ever seen! His name is Mojo, a Maine Coon kitty. He even lays with me. My other brother, Kevin, he's still not sure but Mojo says he'll come around. My new mom and dad are super nice and really patient. They make me feel at home, which is great because I am Home now! They play my favorite song and music whenever I need it, got me a huge new bed, give me lots of pets and cuddles. I'm glad I have a home to call my own and a new family that will help me be the brightest star I can be!  <3
